| DIRTCO began
with a borrowed Bobcat to simply "clean up" under my house. Two
months, many buckets of clay and 120 dump truck loads later, we
had excavated enough space for a 2,000 sq ft basement addition.
The basement has eleven foot high ceilings, a one foot thick slab,
with 48 bell bottom piers, sunk ten feet deep with ten inch thick
walls. We did this all while still living in the house! |

During the project,
we experienced a flood of 7 inches. It happened at the most inopportune
time, yet it taught us valuable lessons. The knowledge gained during
this project, is reflected in our constant attention to overbuilding.

| Every slab, patio, stone
wall or column, needs to be excavated properly. You cannot "cut
corners" when preparing the soil for your investment. DIRTCO
inspects each concrete footer we construct, for accurate 90 degree
corners. This means that your slab and structure starts as planned
in your architectural drawings. |
